This year's Alma Highland Festival will be hosted on the campus of Alma College. We cannot wait to welcome you back to Scotland, USA!
-
Due to many different factors on and around Alma College's campus, the Alma Highland Festival and Games was hosted on the grounds of Alma High School in 2022 and 2023, all with keeping a strong partnership with Alma College and the City of Alma. From green space to parking to needs for all organizations involved, the move to Alma High's campus was thought over long and hard. We as the Festival Board are grateful for the continued support of this great event, regardless of its location!

For 2024, all wristbands are the same color (orange) and will be the same wristband used all weekend long. One ticket, one great experience!
-
-Handicap parking has priority availability on the corner of Superior Street and Grant Avenue, in front of the Heritage Center.
-Handicap accessible restrooms are available across campus: buildings and portable alike.
-GrassMat flooring is laid out across grassy areas to help visitors with wheels of any kind or those needing more stable ground get from one area to the next safely.
-Gates 2, 4, and 5 would be best for access for dropping off near if parking is not an option.
-Need help getting from place to place? Please flag a volunteer in a golf cart! We have a number of golf carts that are working vehicles, but most are for accommodating our guests and getting them around the Festival!

Yes, of course! At this time, we accept cash and local check at the gate as well as credit card by Square. You can always contact our office if you need more information.
-
Snacks and beverages are permitted on Festival grounds; however, you may not bring your own alcohol.
-
Our policy is, and always has been, that "the Festival must go on!" This means you may want to pack some rain gear and sunscreen because we will continue rain or shine.
-
The parade begins at 10:30 am sharp on Saturday and travels from the corner of Pine Avenue and Superior Street to head west Downtown to pass Alma College and conclude at the corner of Charles Avenue and Superior Street. You're welcome to bring a lawn chair for your comfort.
-
There is plenty of parking around the Festival and its grounds. Handicapped parking is available in the parking lot just north of the corner of Superior Street and Wright Avenue, beside the College’s Facilities Building. The City of Alma has many free parking lots downtown. (Please keep in mind "No Parking" signs and "Fire Lane" signs as these are means to have your vehicle towed.)
