The Celtic Caterer - special attraction!
Chef Eric has placed many of his dishes against other top Chefs and their mainstream Cuisine’s and was able to not only beat them, but dominate the competition. In both 2009 & 2010, Chef Eric and the Celtic Caterer were able to sweep the majority of awards in the Colorado Charity Top Chef Competition and be awarded Overall Grand Champion both years running. Chef Eric W. McBride & the Celtic Caterer have not limited themselves to just creating these amazing dishes. They also have a deep understanding of the Culture and the colorful history that goes into each and every dish. One dish, “Chicken in a tarragon cream sauce”, found its origins in an archaeologist dig of a fulachta fiadh, or ancient Celtic Cooking site. They found the reminisce of a cooked chicken in a stone groove bowl covered in tarragon with traces of dairy from over 5,500 years ago.
Cooking demos (located in front of the Wilcox building) will be held on Saturday at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 4:30 pm and Sunday at 12 noon, 2pm and 3:30 pm.
